Ireland Snapshot Q3 2016

The Irish economy remains expansionary,but a 26.3% lift in GDP in 2015 is probably best considered a distortion given its reliance on one-off investments. GDP has improved by 4.3% in the last 12 months. Domestic demand is perhaps a better measure and showed a solid 9.9% growth rate driven by strong private consumption and retail performance. Performance in 2016 is of course clouded by politics, given the UK Referendum result....
